Look all I know is that Akshara was always shown as someone who goes and above beyond in her gratitude for people. That’s basically her character arc. Her family supported this character arc by never stepping up for her whenever Arohi blamed her for Sirat’s death- instead they always expected Akshara to be more understanding cause she is older one. The only person who took a stand for her and showed everyone the reality that Arohi is emotionally manipulating Akshara was Abhi. Her family again let her down on WD- which is nothing new for her. But Abhi divorcing and not looking for her broke her- think about it 6 years and she didn’t move on from that day- that tells you more than enough how much Abhi affects her.

She is still maintaining her character arc- Abhinav is the reason Abhir and her are alive - so obviously she is going to be grateful to him.

There is going to be no acceptance of Ak until she stops taking everyone for granted and that is all. This idea that this relationship is new, they are grown up now, etc etc doesn't work. The only way this works is if you want to say that the current Abhi the one who is scared to even smile, is better than the old Abhi who expressed himself freely. That is what Ak is doing right now.

It's not just Abhi's anger that has gone away, so has his laughter, so has his straightforward nature, so has his self image. All of this Ak cannot even see, because she doesn't want to.
