Yea possible, could be why she has issues with Bhoomi too? Maybe Bhoomi comes from a middle class family too.

I don't think this is the end for SimJay, I think they 1-2 more fights left where Arjun will find the truth and go crazy. It felt more like a nasty fight than break up.
