JBG not being nominated has is due to other reasons.

1. The channel or production house did not submit the nominations for JBG. But I think they did so last year and weren't included.

2. And even if they did, Lux can't consider it since Talha was already nominated last year, as much as Wahaj deserved critics last year for JBG. Now they can't nominate one show twice.

Looks like it was done to give Feroze viewers choice...otherwise it should have been Ahmed Ali Akbar (VC) and Wahaj (critics).

Technically, JBG was not eligible for noms last year.

Eligibility is based on 70% of show aired in that year.

JBG started airing in Dec 2021 but finished airing in Mar 2022 so >70% of its episodes aired in 2022 which means they were eligible for noms in this year's LSA (not last year's).

If by mistake Talha was nominated last year for JBG, they should have either pushed his nom to this year or also considered JBG eligible for all other categories last year as well.

It's obvious lux plays favorism and has internal politics. I think Mahira has won multiple awards over saba and sanam saeed for lux. They have their set of favorites and will keep giving them multiple awards.

It's pretty obvious these awards mostly go to people from a certain group and it's only given to someone else if they have no other option.

I guess Mahira has also won awards over saba and mehwish in the past for dramas as well. No wonder saba and mehwish don't like Mahira.
