then I think some internal politics would be involved because if Wahaj got nominated in the popular category then no one else could win. His fans who did not even watch JBG would have voted for him. The question is why did the channel or the PH not submit the show in the first place.

Last year, Talha Chahour was nominated for Emerging Talent at the LSA's for JBG. Uss waqt bhi koi submission nahi thi by the makers. In fact, JBG was not even eligible for nominations - yet Talha got the nom.

Koi internal politics lagti hai. Wahaj's submission was rejected because it did not even show up in the submissions list on LSA website on which people voted.

Lux said it listed all submissions on its website and opened them up for voting.

Shows with as measly ratings and terrible performances were in the submissions list because somebody submitted that portfolio.

Talha's Nomination was amazing for last year LSA BTW I also want to know why Hamza isn't nominated for best emerging talent for raqeeb se and badshah begum for this year LSA and Last year LSA

KTK got viewers choice nomination since it was the most watched Pakistani show last year and broke several records that too with MH still on air.

JBG not being nominated has is due to other reasons.

1. The channel or production house did not submit the nominations for JBG. But I think they did so last year and weren't included.

2. And even if they did, Lux can't consider it since Talha was already nominated last year, as much as Wahaj deserved critics last year for JBG. Now they can't nominate one show twice.

Looks like it was done to give Feroze viewers choice...otherwise it should have been Ahmed Ali Akbar (VC) and Wahaj (critics).

Lagta hai there is a lot of politics in the industry. I do not understand why the LSA requires submissions. They should simply observe the performances, nominate individuals, and then offer them the opportunity to opt-out if they do not wish to be considered for the awards.

LSA folks said hamein gaaliyan padti hain when we do our nominations so since last year, they put everything on audience. Whoever submitted their portfolio, they said will be put on their submission list that gets opened for audience voting. Top 5 will be nominees and top one will be winner. This is for viewer's choice. But where was Wahaj's portfolio in submission list - we know he submitted. What is the inclusion/exclusion criteria?

Critics choice is where a jury does the nominations but it is drawn from the submissions list. Again, it seems not all portfolios make it to the submissions list. What is the filter here?
