I will just go ahead and say what's on most Indians' minds: if India did do it, good for her! And, if in the process it indeed left no trace, even better!
India's growing importance to the western world is undeniable what with it being the crucial counter balance the west has to China's ascension. This much was evident, since, other than a few boilerplate statements, it's pretty much crickets from Canada's allies in the Five Eyes intelligence alliance. Tsk Tsk 
First the troubling accusations of reacting slowly on alleged Chinese interference in Canada's elections, followed by the escalating diplomatic dog fight with India, followed by the embarrassment of recognizing and according a standing ovation to a Nazi veteran, all the while facing plummeting approval ratings ...couldn't have happened to a nicer man than JT!
