It's about KARMA actually, just like Parent's good/bad karma affects the life of a kid. Neil's good Karma SHOULD have some affect on Vidur.

Tabhi I have mentioned 'Should' It should be other way around and may be it is & we just don't get to witness it often because jab bachcho Ki Karma Ki ginti start Hoti hai tab parents apna life already jee chuke hote hain
