Why did they have that scene of a renowned artist insulting Sahibas work brutally. I thought she was gonna play mentor and it was reverse psychology just to push Sabiba to be better.

At that time Angad barely consoled her. He noticed she felt hurt but didn't say/do much to encourage her.

And there have been hardly any scenes of him appreciating Sahibas talent or acknowledging that she's good at client management despite her lack of formal education.

Even the scenes when she helped with his collection backfired . And they made Sahiba look meddlesome rather than showing her talent. And ultimately that deal flopped too.

They made Kiara positive now so that whole track of realizing that Sahibas designs, her art were unknowingly a part of his professional success is probably not gonna happen. So that whole angle of fate having tied them in every sphere including their respective careers which is important to them both- Sahibas art and Angads business and how that was also made for each other - that was really special. I was hoping they'd include that here too...

There was a really beautiful subplot in OG where the ML evolves from being classist, egotistical, conservative and arrogant to genuinely valuing all kinds of people and their jobs, seeing his wife's talent, pushing her to pursue her dreams, giving her wings to fly.

They made Angads support to Sahibas education also look kinda blah. To me as a viewer its not from a place of being a progressive, modern guy who believes in women's equal rights but that of a husband who wants his trophy wife to at least be a BA pass. Because he expects to sit at home after studying.

Honestly the scenes to build Sahiba Angads trust, closeness, admiration, friendship are few and far between. Sahiba has just accepted that Angad is nice to everyone but her so he's actually a good guy at heart and Angad realizes that Sahiba is really tolerant and kind hearted so she will tolerate everyone's tantrums and can put up a happy facade so that's good for him and his family's image. She will not embarass him publicly and play her part and that is something that makes him happy and content.

To me the foundation of their love is really weak. Angad loves her because she will tolerate his family's insults and let everyone believe that Brars are very respectable people. And Sahiba loves him because he will bend over backwards to fulfil the "duties" expected of him by his family even though she's never at the receiving end of any consideration despite being his wife. She's not even in the list of his priorities. Bass aadat hogayi uski. Who eose will tolerate his bad behavior so he cant lose his favorite punching bag. Bass.

His dad is a drunkard, cheat but he faced no consequences. His mom is arrogant and can pay gundas money to kidnap a child but no consequences. A woman can leave him at altar to run with his brother and shamelessly make passes at him and suggest EMA- but no consequences but for his wife- he will throw things at her, get drunk and misbehave, use choicest words to make her feel insulted , mistrusted, and then barely even apologize for any of it. If he doesn't divorce her and arrangea birthday party and buys her gifts and jewelry, she should be happy with that.

Sahiba has walked out but she will go back to same hell hole. Angad has zero reflection and is just like an angry caveman who can be easily manipulated by all.

Agree totally. Angad needs to grow up and act mature and stop acting goody with Seerat. It’s cringy when Seerat comes near him touchy feely and talks bad abt Sahiba. If Sahiba is his love why doesn’t he react against it. I also feel Sahiba shd not have walked out without clarifying the confession Angad made in dark.

Not liking the psycho track and also arrogance of Sahiba. Angad is supposed to be her love. How can she be so rude with him
