In these 12-14 years, has the trp really never gone that low? 😯

Just to be clear, I don't think any person and/or character is responsible for the decrease and/or increase. It's an ensemble cast, multiple tracks going on at once, external factors, etc. Also, I doubt TV viewers care about anything other than being entertained.

@bold I completely agree with you. There are so many factors at play so I never understood that logic that ONE character makes or breaks a show. It's unfair to blame or credit one person. If anyone is at fault it's the writers, the production company, and the channel. The cast and crew just read scripts or set up the scene.

I'm not on the forum often so I missed the topics. I couldn't finish the episodes because it was boring. I don't expect logic from ITV, but there should be some story which this show lacks. That's why I don't enjoy the festivals, the social messages, or the random birthdays.

I left the show as soon as the preparations of Nav death started. Expecting the storyline to dip further and an impending leap already then. But did not expect that they will drown the story so drastically. What nonsense are the plots and AbhiManyu Akshara inseparable and moving synchronously like sync swimming. He has no other job than to be on the alert to jump in as the rescuer for Abhir and Akshara from their DDP. So why is DDP being blamed for low trp, the DDP is being shown only so that the hero can come and become the savior. And hats off to Ak's character graph. The actress's acting weakness is back and no I am not being biased at all.

Idk why my comment is moved or deleted. Its totally unfair that I can’t talk about the problem I see with the show despite the TRP dip without hurting all those big egos of a certain fd. My last post was not problematic at all, was not calling any real people, simply said what I see the problem is and why it seems to be tanking, that is very relevant to the TRP dip, and yet if it gets deleted based on reports is totally unfair to me too. So you know what I don’t care anymore. If this unfair treatment is what I receive then do hell with it. This is wrong to me too and if other’s opinions matter so much that my post has to be edited then my opinion should have also mattered, but I see that’s not the case.

I dropped the show around February-March and came back later. I'm thinking of dropping it again because I'm bored.

Abhira are the leads and Abhir is their child all of them will interact with each other. Also, they were always in sync before the leap as well. Separations, divorces, reunions, etc is for all TRPs but at the same time

TRPs determine the track (if that make sense).

Some viewers connect to certain characters and others don't. In my opinion, the acting from the cast was never the problem. There wasn't a story when Abhinav was there and there isn't a story now. I'm not being biased either.

This make me question why did they remove Abinav’s character from the show? Everyone is saying tracks are for TRP so like if when Abhinav was there and TRP lowest was at 2.1 and 3rd position, why wouldn’t they just keep him - they already made Akshara fully move on with him and even easily ended Abhir’s worry about bio father. They could have exited Abhi’s character instead - so many solo fans of Abhi and even Abhira fan even agree with that. It’s not like the male lead never exited a show before. From the actor who played Abhinav, it’s obvious he didn’t want his character to end on the show. Online audiences love Abhira and Abhi, and if TRP audience love Abhinav- then why didn’t RS just keep Abhinav in the show, he did say online audience doesn’t bring them anything. So like trying to understand if TRP was more when Abhinav was there, why would RS get rid of the character in his legacy show.
