I think Shanti Prasad married for a second time because it had been many years since his first wife died, cause divorce was unheard of at that time...if he had married Shobana while his 1st wife was still alive then why would DB even respect his dad and stepmom?

May be he shot a clip in Thailand share from there to makers. Or he shot in advance before leaving for Thailand.

They could have been divorced or at least separated earlier until SP and Shobhna met
