I completely agree. Also I don't think Shobhana or Dhanraj will let the marriage happen (which we know it won't), even agree to it, without a prenup. Kartik has zero assets to call his own that we know of, and families like these would never get their kids married to someone so far below their financial station without a prenup or something similar.

(I've read way too many billionaire romances to back this up tbh)
