Yes! Despite "pitashree ko diya hua vachan" he actually wants the prestige and the power, whether directly or indirectly. Yuvika has him on a pedestal and for her he can do no wrong, so she'll be much easier to control, as was Prem. He wants people to think Yuvika is a good boss, the perfect vanshaj, and run the show from behind the curtains.

Dhanraj will leave, today or tomorrow he will give it up for DJ, Gargi will make sure of that. DB is aware of this too. So Yuvika is the easiest person he can control, make a figurehead and then run everything the way he wants to.

There's just one thing that doesn't connect it for me. If Vidur is doing everything on DB's instructions, why would he meet Prem so nicely and offer to help? Either they got to know where Prem was and DB sent him to do that exact thing, or he genuinely felt bad for Prem after everything happened and wanted to make proper amends. Either way, Vidur is way more than he's shown to be, and I'm really excited to see how that plays out
