I think even if Abhinav was part of the show or not the trps would have fell because of Asia cup and even Anupama fell..also last week focus was still on Abhinav’s departure Muskaan rage crying and Abhir the poor kid going through depression..only last two episodes were somewhat fun..😄 They need less dhukh and more happiness,better tracks..

The show ran for so many years it’s not dependant on one character the show must go on..Main Characters: Naitik,Kartik,Naira,og Akshara left and the show is still on so Abhinav’s departure won’t affect the show..

1.6 TRP. But how do audience relate to such story... Abhimanyu takes Akshara's husband to cliff make him drink throws away his , he dies.. Akshara becomes lawyer saves him and from next day he is in goenkas house around ex and both trying to be besties... Atleast should have taken leap to make it believable..

About Abhira I do not know how a claim can be made that nobody wants to see them I want to see them, you seem interested, i can tell by the number of trends in X app that people do want to see them.

In this time of where max are watching the show on Hotstar or online I don't think TRP can stand as the result of what Janta wants. There are only 55000 houses with bar-o-meter that definitely can't determine the overall desire of the audience.

The purpose of TRP is to set the advertisement rate that's all. Why we bother about it so much I don't know.

Totally agreeing with you..Abhira hasn’t even started yet..only this week, there were some mild glimpses of old Abhira..last week had no Abhira and most episodes focused on Abhinav’s departure..so how it’s fair to come to the conclusion that Abhira won’t work calling them cringe and “nobody wants to see them”?..the social media have loads of Abhira fans it’s obvious they have a beautiful chemistry and are popular..

Trps is not the ultimate decision maker anymore since most watch on hotstar..everyone I know use hotstar and have forgotten about cable or dish..trp is collected only from selected households and don’t matter as much as olden days..Trp falls rises are common and this show had survived this over the years..

Hypotheses :

1. Nobody wants to see FL with a cameo

2. Nobody wants to see Abhinav's ddp

3. Nobody wants to see Ak crying for fake husband

4. Nobody wants to see Abhir's ddp

5. Nobody wants to see screaming Manju

6. Nobody wants to see Goenkas

7. Nobody wants to see angry Muskaan

Conclusion:

Everybody wants to see one n only Dr. Birla & the iconic cringe
