What a script writer's are writing to get sympathy for Sahiba by using angad as a scapegoat.

Assume kya karna? Idhar ussne aankhon se dekha Angad di ko propose kar raha?

And Angad has always acted complacent in Seerat matters, not just Sahiba audience too believes at the very least he has a soft corner for Seerat. Kaun ema proposing bhabi ki jimmedari lega? According to Sahiba she is freeing him and Seerat.

And why should she agree to stay in a dynamic where Angad always comforts his ema proposing bhabi , forget the proposal, Angad has not once assured her he will avoid Seerat after yesterday even when she said you are encouraging Seerat? If she sees him proposing to Seerat on top of that with her own two eyes, why won't she believe he loves Seerat and is only controlling himself due to society.

Does only Angad have the right to get confused? according to spoiler he thinks he proposed Sahiba.

And it is not just one event, a sequence of events where the grand finale is a proposal to Seerat. She will believe she is freeing the two which is a right belief, she kept fighting Seerat even till the scene before.

And honestly, if Angad cared he would have simply avoided Seerat after she proposed ema in rain. He kept going to her, stopped her in house, hid her secrets, so now anyone believing he loves Seerat is fair.
