Whatever was there, it looked more like the media’s doing. I have seen both of them denying it at multiple occasions. I think Sunny only had an issue with Yash Chopra the director for betraying him and using him as a launchpad for a newcomer in such a sneaky manner.

Shows the goodwill of Dharmendra tbh & in a more philosophical perspective....the reality of life- Success has many friends, Failure has none.

One shouldn't underestimate the good-will-feeling that many in the industry have for their colleagues (especially those who have worked in the industry for more than 30 years)...successes and failures had been part of their professional life...they can be friends (on different levels) nevertheless.

Gadar2 was the reviving of the past...and that showed also at the success party, imo. To me, a very positive thing

SRK is good friends with the Deols. He revived Bobby's carreer with the performance (very good&impressive ones!) in the Web series Class of '83 and the web film Love Hostel) and Abhaye was in Zero...

Yes....it's a media made rivalry. Sunny never had a problem with SRK, only with YRF for lying to him. SRK has been to multiple Deol functions including YPD2 & Apne launch. Just plain sensationalism this 30 year old Enemity. Hdhd

SRK has always been close to Dharmendra & Bobby anyways. Dharamji essentially launched him. Both "Dil Ashana Hai" & Deewana are from the Deol stable. Guddu Dhanoa the producer of Deewana is Sunnys cousin & Hema Malini is obviously Dharmendras second wife.

Funny story that Dharmendra narrated about how SRK got Deewana that not many people know.

So the first film SRK signed was Dil Ashina Hai with Divya Bharati produced by Hema Malini. The financiers backed off mid-way & the film got stuck. SRK being an ambitious kid used to show up at the Deol house every 3rd day asking Dharmendra about the status of the film.

While this was going on Deewana was also launched. SRKs role was written for Sunny but Sunny had massive back problems so he couldn't do it. Dharmendra recommended Arman Kohli who was the son of a close friend. Now Arman was a nightmare to work with. He wouldn't show up, create scenes on the set, used to be drunk. Now Guddu wanted to kick Arman out but he couldn't without Dharmendras permission. So he also used to show up at the Deol house every few days complaining about Arman.

One day while he was sitting with Guddu batching about Arman...SRK also walked in. Dharmendra was so frustrated with the two....he had a bright idea. He called SRK in....told Guddu to fire Arman. Told SRK to report to the Deewana sets from next week onwards & I guess went back to his drinking. The rest as they say...is history.
