Those gory episodes are after 760 episodes , I've only seen that much and some choice episodes after episode 1000 Older episodes ( 1998-2005) had a more subtle way of killing people...

Prem to paagal hai...he was in such a powerful position. Have all the contacts and resources in world. Still koi usko phasa ke chala gaya and instead of getting the bottom of mystery, he chose to leave mahajans.

Prem wanted to settle all his kids before his past caught up with him ig cause that truth would've spoiled thier children's future ( which it did before Nagars came back to Mahajan house)
