Honestly, this recency bias in Indian cricket is sooooooo bad

Virat and Rohit have played so maaaaany clutch and even anchoring innings in losing causes where everyone else had fallen apart. Are we forgetting Melbourne last year where Virat single-handedly won a lost game against Pakistan for us.

And then an injured Ro came 7 down in the eliminator and scored a 50+ in the same tournament.

This team was getting beaten by WI of all teams without Rohit and Virat and so their public crucification after every management failure is a bit much. We knew they had world class seamers and still chose to bat first. We knew rain was in play and still refused to chase.
