I think they fell little too much in love with their creation..became delusional..didn't consider if he fits in story ..stretched his stay too far...ab na wo total cameo Raha..na koi lead....and they literally destroyed Abhira..8 months is long period to test someones patience ...and na ap sincere efforts kar re hai to fix the relationship and their FL..I read comments most Abhira fans arent able to relate..it's very difficult to unsee what they showed us in this period..I feel this story lost soul...it's a lesson for every maker..don't fall blindly in love with your own creation..keep perspective and heart to destroy it as well if needed

They didn't fall in love with their creation, otherwise they would have invested something into storyline. But no they didn't it was more like they didn't want JS to leave and were hell bent on mocking their viewers. 8 months, audience have plenty of times showcased their displeasure of the story, all that writers did was argue with them and be disrespectful. Overall it was their zidd that is sinking the show.

He has already done the supporting the pregnant widow part, so again, not sure why he would be interested or willing in doing that all over again.

Mostly it seems Abhi's accident track. Like that will make them realize his value, but he is already so checked out that he won't reciprocate, esp won't reciprocate Ak's nok jhoks or whatever flirting she does. And when she finally confesses this time around he will say he doesn't love her anymore. But maybe I am hoping to much.

He looked like a zombie today though, so I am not sure. Maybe he is just sick.

Even anupama is better than Abhimanyu. She wholeheartedly accepted a new beginning in the form of anuj. With regard to Abhimanyu, more he pretends to be mushy and delicate , the more people will exploit him. I don't find anything surprising in how he is exploited by his in-laws, considering he himself gives free pass for the same. He is literally acting like a damsel who tolerates the abuse , expecting that at some point in future the toxic partner will feel pity and stop.
