To me, Akshara's dialogues and her behavior towards Abhi-Abhir relationship comes off as jealousy. She has no reason to feel this threatened by a child finding comfort and solace in his own father. It must bother her that Abhi never needed her to bond with his own son lol.

I always thought it was odd that how the makers inserted Abhi into her marriage from the earlier episodes lol. Now, she is actively inserting herself in Abhi-Abhir's relationship when she isn't needed or asked. Abhi never felt the need to remove or replace the Sharma's relationship with Abhir. He was never jealous or insecure about their bond. He wanted to create his own space separate from anyone else and he did it lol. The insecurity and jealousy Abhinav-Akshara exhibited towards Abhi makes perfect sense now. Abhi can create relationships on his own so he doesn't need a readymade or fake template hence her jealousy. She hide behind the fake Sharma family unit because she can't stand alone.

The disconnect is there, but I doubt the team cares enough to resolve anything. Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if everything swept around the rug like Manjiri's accident to move forward with the wedding.

Exactly this! She has been showing jealousy towards their bond from the beginning? Why? I don't understand. Which mother feels this insecure I don't know. Like she is acting like he is Abhir's step mother rather than his real father.

LOL yes, the fact that they still show her giving weird looks to Abhi-Abhir bonding does have to make one wonder why she feels so threatened by their natural bond.....even now after she herself has said multiple times to Abhi that Abhir is his son, they are both working to bring a smile on his face blah blah.....but the moment she actually sees Abhi succeeding on his own to have a special moment with Abhir, her first reaction is a weird kind of resentment....it is just so odd to see them depicting a mother like this. Wasn’t she holding on to the fact that abhir can only sleep with Nav dialogue for soooo long, wasn’t she taunting Abhi with the same thing - so I guess here them showing her getting Nav fbs & not coming in terms with now abhir sleeping contently in Abhi’s arms some wat makes sense? 🤔 I didn’t listen to wat she said after, I ff’ed it - so not sure.

LOL no, it doesn't make sense when she has herself invited Abhi back into their lives to coparent Abhir.....majboori tab hoti hai when something happens that you were FORCED into....lol who "forced" her into letting Abhi coparent? She's forgotten that he was literally asking permission to enter the room to see Abhir and she was the one saying "Ofcourse"? So what majboori? Madam has amnesia as usual. She invited Abhi back into their lives even before Abhir was diagnosed with depression.

In my opinion, she is just a control freak about this. She wants to control Abhirmanyu relationship. As long as she allows it and they bond, she is okie with it. But the moment, Abhi goes off on his own like with the bed wetting issue she gets mad and insecure. Anything he does without asking her, she gets insecure about. She wants to gatekeep the relationship so she always has the upper hand.

Which is just SO DAMN IRONIC given how she accuses Abhimanyu of being the "control freak" who wants to control everything

Did you see the pouty face she made when Abhi caught her talking to another doctor about Abhir's bed wetting issue? She instantly rushed to cut him off that you can't ask me why I didn't tell you about this....lol she never wants to hear anyone pointing out her double standards so she makes a childish pouty face trying to prevent them from saying anything to her while she herself goes around dictating to others how she needs to know everything

She can't be consider a mother because Abhir isn't her priority. He never was. ITV moms don't hand out father certificates depending on their mood. The truth, reality, logic, and even biology doesn't matter. She lives in alternate reality where she thinks ONLY she has the ability to form or break relationships lol.

@bold It's because she is a pathologically liar. She doesn't mean anything she says lol. She lies to get what she wants. She wants to keep her horrible habit of using him because it benefits her, but the reality is she can't use him because his relationship with Abhir is genuine. She has no control over them so she pouts and says meaningless dialogues when she is the third wheel in their relationship lol.

At the point, even Arohi the literal vamp of the show was shown having a better relationship with her daughter. I never expected her to feel any guilt towards Abhi, but even Abhir's pain gets no reaction from her then she gets resentful over his peace. She acts like a evil stepmother not a ITV mom lol.

Even Manjiri was never this insecure as a parent....lol yes she's a possessive mom but she actively wanted Abhi to bond with his father.....here, Ak seems so damn insecure of Abhi-Abhir bonding as if them getting closer means her importance as a mom will reduce

Any mother would be happy that her child is not suffering. She is more concerned about controlling who is responsible for his happiness than his actual happiness. She makes no sense to me lol.

I think all I got from the RJ monologue is that their will be a new relationship between them, not that Ak will make any efforts or anything like that. It is still a fake facade only, everything Ak does is fake from so long, her real self doesn't exist anymore. Lets just wait a watch. The whole episode today was disjointed, not just Abhira. We may see more of what the reality is after a few days. That's how leaps usually are, they show some disjointed scenes and the reality is only after a few days. Like even in this leap the first episode felt so unreal, but then slowly we got to know about Abhi's depression, Manjari's issues etc.

It seems writers are on some kind of time line to achieve something..don't know what it is..they are rushing through even good things
