This is one of the biggest reasons why Kartik is becoming intolerable tbvh. No hate to Zaan. Yes Neil and DJ undoubtedly know each other's potential, they might have spent some good time with each other either as friends or as nemeses

Right now DJ doesn't know that Neil is into Yuvika, strange that he hasn't still understood despite twice seeing them together, or he is too busy in breaking KarVika so doesn't foresee the bigger threat.

This is a proper builtup, both know each other's potential, thing is though that we don't know, they should now start showing what Neil can do, also to what extent can DJ go
