Just because makers are pushing one narrative(that Abhinav was better than Abhimanyu or Abhimanyu is a grey character) - doesn’t mean everyone will accept/agree to it. We all see the story and can have our own inferences and interpretation. Where you see love between the Sharma couple - I only see codependency and gratitude - and a very shallow understanding of each other.

Akshara may have insulted Abhimanyu’s love by calling it a cage and disrespectful- its a twist of narrative and I never witnessed anything in their relationship that would make me believe her words. But yes, she was free to move on then and she’s free to move on now.

To be honest, I never want Abhimanyu to be another Abhinav, other than anger issues (which are occasional and now very much in control) - I don’t see any major flaw in Abhimanyu’s past self - his character was way more enjoyable pre leap.
