My only concern is that Drishyam was also loosely based on Devotion of Suspect X. I hope it's not too similar.

Kareena in that singing shot is a sight for sore eyes..it is so refreshing to see a 43 years old actress looking this natural..now you may say she has done this that yada yada..but i say "looking" this natural..it all boils down to that..she looks all natural..not those generic plastic faces we see esp on 40 plus actors all looking like clones of one another with bloated cheeks making their eyes small and fish lips..kareena is ageing well and i love how content she is in her own skin..even if you pick her debut movie, you will notice her features are literally the same..hell even her eye brows are the same

Well well if it ain't the so called mighty actress Kareena seeking some credibility under the refuge of 2 actually talented actors. Everything about this is so staple OTT.

it’s not.

suspect x is my fav Higashino novel . It made me read all of his (English translated) works. The man writes amazing thrillers. In Most of them you actually know who-did-it and it’s the how why etc journey that you take with him.

Drishyam is also a fav movie of mine and it only bears resemblance slightly - the part being - ***not really a spoiler!! but still WARNING -

the characters are trying to misguide the police.* But how and why is quite different.

My Bebo always delivers better than expected in whatever she’s doing.
And there hasn’t been a role among her last few ones that I have disliked so my expectations are high for this one too. Plus the supporting cast is great too and I am just getting a really good vibe out of this one. This was a long wait but seems worth it.
