I think ekta started with Kasautii Zindagi Kay . Even in that rohit roy and shewta tiwari had a steamy scene .and it was on 8 pm in tv. So ekta serials r like that .

Bichare Kushal and Shivangi had to appreciate Ananya because aur koi chaara nahi warna Ananya and acting 🤣

Ram priya consummation in BALH S1 is the most bakwaas episode in ITV history, it was sleazy and made me uncomfortable to watch with my family. Not just that maiyya serials go in a certain template, FL is mostly from middle class sanskaari who shouts on top of her voice(I'll get beaten black and blue by my amma if I shout like that), rich ML always bichara is being exploited by his family. Its always takraar se pyaar only for the seemingly hot couple to separate time and again. Bache hothe separate ho gaye, bacche Mar gaye separation ho gaya and always villain is a meethi bol wali lady with loud makeup. Always oggling for the ML. Sadly pyaar and pregnancy never work well in ekta maiyya serials. Most annoying is the stotra of god in the background during anap shanap track🤣
