What are the good aspects of this novel? Why do people love it so much ?

The major reason people loves it is because people love Sikandar a lot. He is the main victim of the story with a traumatized past. People love his journey of returning back to life by Liza who is by the way a very good female character with a little troubled childhood. A positive male lead and female lead with friendship is the only good aspect of it storywise.

Apart from that it is mainly set in Italy with added details into arts which attracts artistic mindsets like mine. Also it has many other locations in it like Doha, UK, Pakistan and USA. Overall the story is very simple and just revolves around a single household with unrealistic coincidences.

To make it likable on visuals they will have to tone down Zain and Maryam's toxicity, especially Maryam's because she was awful with no strong backstory. I read it last year and it was just a one time read for me.

I feel like Hania is playing Maryam, Iqra will play Lisa and Ahad will play Sikander. The other actors will play the parents in flashbacks

If they wanted a simple story then they should have picked up Yaaram. That is a very endearing story of university students set in Manchester with a love story between a traumatized Pakistani girl and a Lebanoni boy. It is very nicely written and is worth an ensemble cast as well because there are many characters in it.

The more I think about novels better than JBHSSL the more I realize the wasted potential

During soty promotions and all she used to be obsessed with Sid and he used to treat her like a kid which clearly annoyed her. Then after some years they started dating. Seems like she gets what she wants. 😆

yes but the actress who'll play maryam needs to look breathtakingly gorgeous, stylish n classy. Unlike Lisa playing maryam requires acting chops n looks both. Actually both sikander and maryam requires actors who are exceptionally good looking and know how to act.

If it's about being stylish I guess we can all get Mahira is gonna be Maryam. When Mahira is cast we all should be aware that acting chops is the least of the makers concern 🤣

Sanam saeed will kill it in any role. Both she and saba can be badass b*tches who are stylish and villainious. They both are really tall and have that 'dont mess with me' attitude.
