The soulmatism concept is done n dusted this gen (something I'm glad for bcos promotion of toxicity as one turu love is one of the worst things ITV does incessantly).

I never completely understood the diff bw these tens of terms used to describe lovers like soulmates, twin flames, star-crossed, forbidden this that... bcos honestly they're based more on people's experiences and understandings of them.

For me soulmate would mean someone who offers comfort, peace of mind, a feeling of home, understanding, absolute trust and compatibility.. so that can essentially apply to anyone but thanks to movies it's just majorly seen as romantic.

Abhira and soulmatism never fitted together.

There was love bw them but a bad, destructive kind.. the one that hurts oneself and the others. Such kind of love trope is romanticized enuf by Bollywood and ITV, but it doesn't change the fact that these dynamics aren't healthy or desirable by all.

So yeah, after everything said n done, and all the progress Akshara showed in understanding n coming out of her past, the reunion would look forced. Had the script been taut the journey of leads falling back together might be a decent watch, but with the lazy narration throughout this show it won't make much sense Ik.

abhira relationship was always shallow, it’s that teenagey romance , and every scene will have some trip and fall and eye lock. It was mostly AbhiM deciding for akshara, akshara being okay with it, if she goes against him then clash, and eventual combustion.

even now the cordial relationship between abhira is due to abhinav acting as a bridge and being including of abhimanyu, otherwise it would have still been anger filled, that was the purpose of nav I guess and for this whole white day parallel.

Harshal I chemistry must be good for so many hardcore fans, but I don’t find anything between them , no natural chemistry, without any fancy scenes and outfits, I don’t see anything special with them again that’s dependant on individuals. If you notice abhira romantic scenes are technically beautiful shot and aesthetically pleasing. Character arcs are drab so don’t find anything special in them, post leap abhimanyu was basically an obsessed lover or maybe even pre leap, like he has to have what he wants, he doesnt believe in moving on or doesn’t want to

She was remembering Abhinav today, she had held his shirt. Abhimanyu took away that shirt from her hand and it legit seemed like snatching...

Seems like Rakshabandhan is around the corner and Muskaan may... May may finally forgive Abhimanyu and tie rakhi toh him🤣

I think these fancy terms are not required for a simple arrangement of two people respecting each other's choices, giving space to eo and willing to let go of each other's mistakes ...unfortunately in today's times it has become a benchmark , difficult to achieve , where it should be the starting point of all relationships ..yeh toh basic hona chahiye .

If the concept of soulmates exist there should be no divorce or break ups ?😆 Or ppl r really bad at identifying their soulmates ? 😆
