. I have been meaning to write this for sometime but haven’t got around to doing so …this is on ppl who say thst we should move on from TB because they have ….Well…what makes them think that we haven’t ? Just because we come here and talk from time to time and comparison creeps in while discussing other shows ? We have moved on but TB is a beautiful memory which can not be totally obliterated and comparisons with other shows are bound to happen because after we have tasted the best if we are served something mediocre then differentiation is but natural . Even Hassan commented on it…he said earlier they ( he meant him and Aamna ) didn’t bother about production values but now they do , those may be minor glitches overlooked by the production houses but the makers can not afford to do that anymore because everything is observed by us and the viewers…the producers have to be careful about minute details .
Anyway coming back to TB, I have just one thing to say. Meerab and Murtasum combined sensuality, love and hesitance so well that it’s tough to say who should be credited …. the actors, the characters , the writer or the director . Meerasim were all YRF romance in motion with just the right amount of restraint reflecting a fatal attraction that they are trying to hoodwink themselves to. Maybe i have a selective vision or maybe some actors and characters shine beautifully together which Meerab and Murtasum did.
