Now that we have all re-seen it a 1000 times, which was your favorite scene of TB?
Hey Rumi,
Glad to see some known people still hanging around and delighted to see I am not the only one going through borderline TB-withdrawal syndrome! 😊
Before I saw your post (I visited the forum after watching some random TB scenes, of course!😉), I was actually thinking about my most favourite TB scenes. Undoubtedly, I guess the ‘Dargah Scene’, specifically where Meerab was praying, while Murtasim was looking over, wins the competition hands down for me. It is the 4th or 5th clip of TB I watched, and it is what sold TB to me. From the superlative facial expressions and the finitely subtle body languages of the leads to the warmly soft hue of the lighting that gave the metaphorical dawn of their lives to the brilliant camera work; everything about this shot screamed perfection. At my first watch, even without knowing any background of these characters, this scene conveyed all the right emotions, and I acutely felt their emotional turmoil. Such was the brilliance of this scene. Despite the tears, the scene was beatific. So, that one is a class apart!
Apart from that one, it’d be arduous task to pick one, as there are so many – the ‘Chahath’ revelation, the bedroom scene after post-accident reunion, the last scene of the finale episode, etc. (And I also have some I call as my favourite 'shots' 😉!). But I have one scene, which is one of my absolute favourites, that I think would be an ‘unpopular’ choice – the scene in their room in the Ep. 38, when they came back home after Meerub’s escapade of following her husband (and after her monologue where she weakly refuses to accept that she had fallen in love with her husband). The afterward conversation has been one of my favourites right away just for the simple domesticity it oozed between the couple. But more so, I believed this scene had Meerab’s ‘unsaid’ love confession, which of course heard by her husband. Their dialogues and expressions were so aptly their characters – she was being adorably stubborn and him, as always, tenderly aware of what was going on in his beloved wife’s head. And in this scene, they were both blissfully content in each other’s company within their personal haven. So, I absolutely loved this particular scene. When I watched the Ep. 38, I remember badly wanting to write something on this one - to decode their dialogues, but somehow, I never did. 😊
So, what is your most favourite out of the sea of many TB favourites?😊
