Actually liked today's episode, but my standards have also been considerably lowered by this show. Abhir heard them fighting and jumped conclusion that Abhi killed Nav. Abhi managed to call him, but he told on his face that he hates him. Abhi is heartbroken again, but its his normal state now. He talks to Manjari and says he feels like he is the problem, that whoever he loves, they hate him. Manjari tells him not to lose hope and keep fighting to turn this hate into love.
Abhir tells Ruhi that her poppy killed his papa. Ruhi immediately takes a stand that poppy can never do that, he is a doctor who saves lives, never can take a life. Only person in the entire show who understands that and its a six year old 👏. I loved Ruhi today. She was incredibly astute too in recognizing that everyone is against her poppy including matashree. She clearly took a stand for poppy against everyone else.....but, I feel like she is a kid and can be manipulated pretty easily by Arohi if she wants to.
I really want Ruhi to be able to meet Abhi to give him some faith back in his life that not everyone hates him and there are a few people who actually love him the way he deserves. Ruhi has been the star in these past few weeks with her unwavering love for poppy. All those six years of love that he gave her, he is being rewarded back with. But, I also feel like somewhere he is going to ruin this relation for Ak and Abhir, which is going to be one of the worst things he has done - if he does that, I will actually give up on Abhi as well and quit the show.
Abhir asked for videos from the party cause he misses Nav. Ak asked Shefali to bring them. Manjari gave them to Shefali along with the custody papers. Shefali came over to Goenkas and gave both things. She stressed that why would Abhi give up custody if his plan was to get Nav out of the way? Ak seemed taken aback and like she is thinking about this. Kairav chimed in with this is all plan of Abhimanyu Birla the Great. Ak didn't really seem to listen to him and she paid more attention to Shefali. Shefali also was least concerned with anyone else except for Ak and simply told her to think about it.
So....I think the next episode might be about Ak re-evaluating. She might also see the party videos with Abhir and realize that Abhi was being genuine. Maybe she will also find something in the videos that makes her rethink things. Basically, she won't be convinced Abhi is innocent, but she also won't rule it out.
With that she might go to Abhi and say she will fight the case honorably, and if he is innocent, she will get him out and if he is not, she will put him in jail.
Honestly, if this is the track, I am not terribly mad at it. Ak can slowly figure out that Abhi wasn't to blame and rethink things while the trail goes on.
