They had hope I guess. Esp with Imlie, PS having low trp, they expected a good slot... and was waiting for a long run...
At least a good slot... They wanted to have the marriage and cricket drama, premier league stuff, maybe something in Ittarpur, Ayaan's paternity... I assume nothing was confirmed a week ago...It was a week ago that they got the real shock...
I agree with u on this.
The whole point of the show was how Faltu will become Anmol. In their journey, Fayaan was actually part of the whole process.
All might have noticed that Fayaan was never like those typical ITV couple like - baal urnah, slow-mo touch and all. Don't get me wrong I have no problem with romantic show and cliche romance stuff but what I want to say the story had a goal from first and both Faltu and Ayaan were very much comfortable with each other from initial days. It felt to me, for such reason makers were able to pull all romance things instantly when it was necessary.
To be honest, Ayaan is rare kind of main lead in ITV who never did all those clcihe things and directly said, "I Love You" to Faltu, but still he could portray his profound love with dialogues, eyes and emotions. Same is for Faltu, she isn't typical. Without being cliche they were fabulous as couple.
And about the drama part, I also feel they never got the time to think how to end the story but they only knew they will give a happy ending. When the show was announced off-air in 31st July they arranged a beautiful romantic track for Fayaan with apology song-dance, Ayaan drenching in rain and being fanatic for Faltu. I know me always taking makers side might sound being biased but it genuinely felt to me if they had prior notice or confirmation they would make a good fayaan reunion but it is also true if the show had more time they would defiantly delay the reunion with Neel and Tanisha drama. Because cricket and Fayaan are the selling point of the show and they would show them with time.
