Drinkibg on cliff side is dangerous but they do it normally. It is dumb but no one expect it to risky or expect accident to happen. But akshara going to kidnappers was more risky because its not normal. I would say that was more dumb.

I have seen many couples fight and they use such words casually in the fight!!! Ki tumse shadi karke galti ki, humein saath mein nahi rehna chahiye, etc etc... How is this DV???

A mother slapping a kid is abuse. A mother falsely accusing her child of murders is also verbal abuse. And there are laws for child protection. Two kids fighting in a park is also abuse. A teacher hitting a student is also abuse. A driver shouting at another driver in a traffic jam is also abuse.

But that would still not make it spousal abuse. There is literally different legal definitions of different forms of abuse. A student cannot file a DV case against a teacher because they are not in a domestic relationship. Different laws applies in different scenarios.

All abuse is wrong.

PS. For mods, I am not defending abuse or trivialising it. I am not bashing/mocking/moral policing any actor/character/member/fandom.

Even if it doesn't make it spousal abuse, what is your point? How is it any less than spousal abuse? The relationship shared is different therefore the term is different, the victim is still victim and culprit is still culprit, however Abhi didn't abuse Ak and didn't ask her to leave the house.
