The show has been a series of her making horrible decisions and everyone suffers in one way or the other. Even now, everything that is happening is directly linked to her making the SAME wrong decision despite knowing the result will be disastrous. As for Manjiri, she has to be one of the most toxic mother figures on ITV next to Akshara.

However, I don't understand how she is wrong for not wanting her son to be accused of a murder that he didn't commit. Is she supposed to declare Abhi a murderer without any proof too? What's wrong in her wanting to keep the children out of this traumatic situation? Makers have shown Akshara constantly dragging both children into her mess and then use them as shields.

The reaction at her prioritizing her son when that's all Akshara has done since the beginning of the show is odd. Pre-leap only the Goenkas' emotions, opinions, and feelings mattered. Post-leap it was Abhinav and the random neighbor family that appeared with him. Abhir wasn't even an priority for her until Abhi found about his existence lol.

Both Manjiri and Akshara have the same toxic abusive traits. Right now, the makers are showing that one involves children and the other doesn't.

Soon arohi may give big bhashan why she feels akshu is responsible for sirat's death which nobody understood before. But after all this ppl will support her lol 🤣

The former leads were written better. The difference is very clear.
