However, it's really sad that makers don't give lot of thought and proper solution to conflicts or problems arising from such things.

I mean, yes these issues about moving out for career and settling female's parents with oneself should rather be leads story, but leads in this show has been getting utterly ridiculous plotlines - like blame game, deaths, divorces and reunion... and they waste potential ones on these sideys...

In this show, character of Abhimanyu is hailed for letting Aksahra meet Goenkas and on other side we have characters like Kairav who will welcome his in-law to be permanent member of the family.

And we had Abhinav who encouraged Akshara to go back to family and be with them when it was need of an hour... She didn't need permission or any sort of orders from anyone. It's her basic right and she just used it. Had it not been for Abhinav, Akshara would have continued remaining Aloof!

Aise characters ko chodkar makers and iTv in general I feel really wanna promote misogynistic mindset where women are bound by DOs and Don'ts of family rather than balancing and having independent ideas and opinions.

Even I really didn’t understand how a person call himself man and feminist who is he to give a girl permission to meet her own family…..it’s better to divorce or stay single than marry such person

Abhimanyu Birla akele nhi hai iss race mei.. aur tamam competitors hai.. but since I read so much about Rishta legacy, its family vibes, its Hum Sath Sath Hai kinda storyline.. ki I thought maybe yeh show thoda better handle kare... but yha bhi raita falaya hua hai bilkul...

Tho I still feel yrkkh toxicity-wise abhi bhi apne contemporaries se thoda peeche ayega but han cringe-wise unhi ke equivalent hai

See some shows glorified toxicity, some opposed it and DKP was always thought to be in second category ... But yrkkh could have been different and better. But naa, it had to follow ITv way out.

The charm was lost in Gen 2 and revived in Gen 3 with second leap. But absolutely wasted the potential. 😆

Anna there are people & families with that mindset but here their glorification is the bigger problem.

Based on my understanding he apparently dictated what should she do and shouldn't. He asked her to not involve in his family matter.. Sach mein aise shadi kyun ki? 😆 in India, family is like very important part of marriage... But yeh Indian thing ek side...yeh rishtaverss hai... Yahan pati patni parivaar ka theka lete hai... Jaise aaj Kairav ne liya and pehle Naira and Sr. Akshara ne liya tha

And at this point, she needs support of her family. Her good family because she has lost man she loved, her child has lost his father. They need family right now.

Nope. She saw bp saying akshara should not have done that with neil. Even bp lied that abhimanyu Don't want her in his life where as abhimanyu came to meet her in goenka house and bp said you guys don't belong with each other and sent him back.

BP lied and akshu believed. So narrative was not that akshu does not want to meet abhimanyu. Narrative was set that akshara thinks everyone blames her and abhimanyu don't want her as per bp.

Child's father was alive. The man once she claimed that she loved was alive. It's just that her acchayi died for a cameo.

She forgot basic common sense and human tendency to inform that man who stood with her even after knowing she can not become pregnant.

Who tolerated her sister's nonsence when her sister blackmailed him with her stupid demands just to not to hurt her.

Who chose to crush his dream of becoming father than risking her life.

Who expressed his dream of living his childhood through their child as his childhood went seeing his dad abusing his mom.

Well show mein toh bataya hai they loved her and Manish met her, they had phone talks, etc.

— so only Manish had relations with her. Correct, where does Kairav factor in this? Him bringing Neela to stay with him is a making him good, then him rejecting Akshara’s phone calls/ignoring Abhinav/Abhir makes him bad.
Also, there was never a scene where she had to ask Abhi permission to go anywhere..! 😃
