thing I needed to cheer up myself, at least Roohi knows that her husband is not a fairy tale material😆

Nice.. she knows not all fairy tales hv happy ending.
Told you, the point of this series is this all is in her head and she needs to snap out of it. I was considering making it RooJay series, but maybe not

#2: Fairytale
Roohi felt like a princess from some fairy tale, decked in the finest of the lehengas that money could buy, and the jewels and diamonds that would put even the celestial beings to shame. But Roohi knew that they were worthless compared to the man who entered the room. She smiled at him, her face red with all the blushing. She was looking at her husband, her partner, her prince charming.
"Roohi, I don't love you, I didn't want to marry you, but it was my duty to my family. I am sorry, but I cannot have any relationship with you, physical or emotional."
If only Roohi had known that not all fairytales have a happily ever after.

Plan wahin hai, but in drabbles and I also don't have a plot in my head (not the usual case I have some plotline which changes with my mood, but this is blank slate, so...🙈)
Chalo fairytale ended, back to reality for Roohi.
Good job Shibani.
Thank you😅
#3: The Third in the Picture
It started with a fragrance. Roohi had settled enough in the Mahajan family to know that her in-laws would consider such perfumes cheap, but it still lingered on her husband's suit. Then came the lipstick marks, and once even a love bite.
A part of her begged her to look away, but the small part of her asked her, prodded her, and told her she deserved the truth.
"Are you seeing someone?"
"You don't get to ask me that," DJ snapped.
"If I am going to pretend to be your wife, at least respect me enough to tell me the truth."
"Yes." His sharp blue eyes looked into her brown ones, daring her to ask more questions.
"You have to be careful then, else they'll know too." She said and looked away, wondering who was the third one in this picture, her or the girl who's perfume lingered on her husband's suits.
