Everyone is against human rights violation but if a war happens between two countries they all will take the sides of their own countries and want their country to win. Nobody will care about the human rights violation that will happen. It's easy to say war is wrong but when it comes to national security and integrity of a nation winning is all that matters. There is a reason why we say everything is fair in love and war.

Politics and the things that follows are not black and white. Pakistan is indirectly ruled by the army for decades now. Nothing new there. No one in their right mind esp people that have a lot to loose will go against the army of a country. Even imran Khan came to power with the support of the army only. He didn't had any problem when they put similar allegations against nawas Sharif and kicked him and jailed him the same way they are doing it to him now. No matter which government rules the army will do what they want to do. But going against the army is only gonna put the country and it's security in more danger. It's a catch 22 situation. What imran Khan did by instigating his followers against the army was a very selfish and dumb move esp when he himself is not a corrupt free guy. He and his party has equal hands in all the riot and protest that followed. They all played politics with the life of common people.

What statement has sajal made? Thanking the government for giving support to the entertainment industry? How is that similar to Feroze khan and his narcissistic behaviour and allegations of domestic violence? It's like saying non bjp supports shouldn't take the advantages of 'beti pado beti bachao scheme' as it's launched by the government. It's a campaign by the government of India and not by bjp the political party.

It's not enough that nadia Jamal herself went and supported a child who faced domestic violence she should also do everything right? Just because a person supports cause A doesn't mean he/she is obligated to support cause B. She is doing what she can by supporting children.

IK supporters are annoying, in democracy you need to learn how to respect someone's opinion that differs from you. Well Imran khan lost me when he passed that rape apologist staement, so insensitive and dumb. Politicians arr just worst human beings.

Also Shahbaz is not the choice of people....Imran Khan is a crazy man too..the book his ex-wife (journo) had written was quite problematic..but for some odd reason he has a cult following in public...I dont think Shahbaz himself is interested in being the PM either😆 Idk why Mariyam did not become the PM instead of him..she seemed like a natural choice..fiery and quite radical too..

My point is..its not just another corrupt or problematic government..there is NO government.😳

This is exactly what I want to say. If imran Khan was still ruling with the support of the army and someone else was in position of IM is now, he would have kept his mouth shut and supported the army like the current ones. IM and his supporters are acting like they won the election on their own but the truth is they won because the army wanted them to win. For some reasons totally unknown to the public these two ended up on the opposite side.

Supporting opressors is equivalent of oppression in our religion so I find Sajal even worst than Feroze because she is supporting people far worst than him. You can't convince me otherwise. About Imran Khan's corruption then let me tell you when he had his first divorce he was offered a hefty amount of money by the Goldsmith family according to the will of Jemima's father. If Imran Khan had taken that money he would have been one of the richest man of the world but he refused it. If Imran Khan was doing corruption then he would had tons of properties in Pakistan and abroad like others but he had none. All his properties are either ancestral or the ones he made during his cricket era.

Again as I said that it isn't about not supporting IK because I don't do that either. I don't support political parties nor my family does. My problem is with them supporting the devils. As I said before that what is fed to us by international media is something else. Even when I was abroad I never knew that the situation is this severe until I came and watched by my own eyes.

Women of her own country were raped by this government. Tomorrow she can be a victim of this as well but here she is writing rubbish praises for them. I never followed or stanned any celebrity on any platform, will never do it either. My problem is the amount of justification they gets and the amount of people idealizes them. They should stop pretending to be virtuous and preach audience about morals when they can't practice what they preaches. They shouldn't expect respect from us when they can't give one. Let's end this discussion here because we can never find a common ground on this topic. We can always agree to disagree like we did in the past. 🤗

Also the honour is not for a single person as far as I know. It's given to multiple people and sajal is only one of them. Saba qamar, mehwish hayat, momina duraid etc have gotten it before sajal.

Were all the previous winners also sell outs to then ruling parties? Did anyone even cared how many scientists or journalists or social workers were getting this award and for what reasons they were winning it?

Why are the winners of this year being called out? Pakistan never had a stable government so almost everyone were outed for corruption.

You do know that these are honours decided months ago and only announced on a particular day. It's not something that are decided directly or only by 3-4 ministers. There are committe to decide the winners.

There will be politics in all these honours but hating on the winners simply because of the political unrest in the country is total injustice to the winners.

Can you guarantee all the people that won these awards got it before this year were all deserving? Sajal is non deserving simply because she thanked a minister for showing support to the industry she works in. If the government tomorrow does something for the betterment of cotton industry or education should everyone in that field boycott that as well and not take the advantages of those policies?

It's basic common sense to not bite the hands that feed you. Modi is not Modi without the support of bjp. If he ever stands against whatever top bjp leaders want, then he will end up being irrelevant within no time. Likewise imran Khan shouldn't have forgotten that he won because the army wanted him to win and not because he was deserving. The army helped him to built the image among the public and they have the power to destroy that image as well and they did it.
