In real life, a son is supposed to do anthim sanskaar of his biological parents when they die.
Even if any other elderly member of his family passes away other than his parents, he can’t do anthim sanskaar of that person till his parents are alive.
Kairav or Manish or any of their male relative can do anthim sanskaar of Abhinav provided the person doing the rites must have his own parents dead.
