Chapter 9

Commissioner : Toh phir thik hai main tumhe 2 din deta hu case ko puri tarah study karne aur plan banane ke liye. Uske baad tum logo ki training shuru hogi. Advanced weapons and technology will be provided to you. And as it is a top secret mission aap logo ke regular cases bhi saath mein aayege jayege. (Rathore was going to say something) Don't worry jayda high profile nahi honge. It's just a cover. And Sakshi media ka dhyan ache se rakhna.

Sakshi : Don't worry sir I will take care.

Commissioner : So tum log case study kar lo next meeting mein plan discuss karenge.

They all stood and saluted the commissioner and he left from there.

Sameer : I think hum log apne pending kaam complete karte hai and sham ko duty hours ke baad discuss kare toh acha hoga.

Arjun : I too think the same.

All other officers agreed to them and went to do their respective jobs. As unit 1 just had paperwork to complete, Sakshi and Chotu went to help Riya to set up her cabin.

Arjun : Sameer main soch raha tha ki abhi toh kuch kaam nahi hai mujhe toh main na victim ki list dekh leta hu agar kuch information meli toh acha hi hoga na. Aur file shree ko dedo wo information scan karke harddisk mein transfer ar dega. Main victim ka list dedunga usse baad mein.

Sameer: Thik hai par list sambhal ke rakhna.

Arjun : Haan.

In Riya's cabin.

Chotu was arranging the files on the shelf while Riya and Sakshi were arranging her table.

Sakshi : Riya tum itne time kaha thi??

Chotu and Riya stop their work. Chotu was uncertain to answer her questions. Chotu was about to divert the topic but Riya answered it.

Riya : Main coma mein thi. Abhi 2 mahine pehle hi hosh aaya hai.

Sakshi : I am sorry...

Riya : Nahi is mein sorry ki koi baat nahi hai.

Sakshi was about to continue but stopped by a loud voice. It sounded like someone had thrown something with full force. The trio look at each other and run out of the cabin to see the matter. They saw others and unit 2 also there standing out of Arjun's cabin. They again heard the same voice coming from his cabin. Riya entered the cabin and was horrified to see the scene. The cabin was shattered, the files were laying on the floor papers flying here and there. Arjun was throwing everything he saw.

Sam's heart winced internally at the scene. He had predicted this reaction by him. Riya was about to move forward to calm down Arjun but Sameer stopped her. Sameer knows that Arjun is not in his senses and might hurt Riya unintentionally. Sameer and Sam nodded at each other and went towards Arjun. They held his hands and tried to control him.

Arjun : Chodo mujhe....

Sameer : Shant hojao Arjun...

Arjun : Nahi chodo mujhe main sab khatam kar dunga....

Sam : Ab kuch bacha hi nahi hai toh kya khatam karenge aap...

Unit 1 thought that he was talking cabin but only unit 2 knew what he was talking about. They knew that it is taking very thing from Sam to control his outburst. After sometime Arjun calm down and apologize for his behaviour. They all were shocked to the core. ACP Arjun Rawte was apologizing. It was a heart attack moment for them. They all started leaving but Arjun stopped Riya.

Arjun : Riya ruko tumse kuch baat karni hai.

She nodded and others left from there.

Riya : Kya baat hai Arjun aap thik toh haina?

Arjun : Nahi Riya kuch thik nahi hai.

Riya : Kya baat hai mujhe bataye?

Arjun : Yeh list dekho... (He shows her the victim list which he had taken from Sameer) Yeh naam dekho aur bolo ki kaise sab thik ho sakta hai.

Riya : Arjun yeh....

Arjun : Isliye mujhe tumhari help chahiye.

Riya : Kaisi help.....

He explained everything to her and she nodded in understanding.

Riya : Main pura try karungi...

Arjun : Try nahi Riya tumhe yeh karna hi hoga. It's very important for me...

Riya : Thik hai main pata karti hu.

Sam's cabin.

Same enters his cabin and bangs his fist on the table in anger. Naina tailed behind him.

Sam : Mujhe pata tha.... Mujhe pata tha ki Aisa hi kuch hoga.

Naina : Par Sameer ek na ek din toh unhe pata chlna hi tha.

Sam : But main nahi chahta tha ki unhe kabhi pata chale.

Naina : Haan but ab agar wo investigation bhi karenge toh wo dead end par hi aayege.

Sam : I hope ki atleast is mission tak yeh baat sabse chupi rahe.

Naina : Aisa hi hoga.

They hug each other.

Leap of 2 days.

Arjun was very furious. He marched inside the conference room of unit 2 followed by whole unit 1. He directly went and stood in front of Sam.

Sam : (confused) Kya hua hai sir any problem??

Arjun : Problem toh tum batatoge mujhe.

Sam : Main kuch samjha nahi Sir.

Arjun : (Shouting) Jayda masoom banne ki koshish mat karo ACP Sameer Maheshwari yaa kahu Arhaan Suryakant Rawte …

Hmm 🤔 I thought ke kuch loocha to hai per ye hai ye nahi socha tha & now things wil become more complicated for everyone

Arjun went out of control this time which is obvious but still good that he has trusted Sam & Riya & they are backing him in his emotional turmoil

Hopefully mission main jaldi kuch interesting milega
