Writters should've really thought about minor details like this before scripting the show...it's minor details like these which makes some shows stand out from the rest but here the creatives have dropped the ball on small details like this...

DJ does know he has a chacha called Prem who left CEO position & Mahajan family to live in far away land years back.
His parents could have fed into his brain, Prem & his family may NEVER return home & also that Prem has ONLY one girl child. DJ might have taken Prem & co for granted all these years. 👏so fault lies with Dhanraj & Gargi more here.
Even when Prem & family returned to Delhi it was for hospitalization/medical reasons, so DJ behaved least bothered,😔 he also assumed post Prem chacha's death his family would go back to Rishikesh & Nagar phatichars would never return.😛 & Gargi helped him with media leakages of 20 years old Prem's scandal.
