I get a headache, and my BP shoots every time I visit one of the longer-running show forums, including the one you mentioned. There is just so much negativity there.

Looks like I found a person who has closely watched this show as much as I have. Did you recently watched this show? Because, I binged all the episodes and, I am literally full of praises about this show.

What you said was right. Ehsan did say this in his dialogue to Katha. I would like to add to this thing. Viaan and Ehsan had been friends from childhood. Just like Viaan, he also doesn't want to lose his childhood friend (his true love) because of Katha. Also, Katha showed no interest in Ehsan. Not only that, in real world it would make sense to talk to Viaan than to plotting against him because he is his childhood friend. Also, On the night before lohri, Ehsan and Viaan had a conversation where Viaan told Ehsan, maybe they have misunderstandings for now but, it won't last long and Viaan will always be his friend and always be with him. After this, both shared a shot of beer together. This wholesome moment also adds to it. I mean, how can you be a villian to this person who is your childhood friend, had been with you in every situation, bussiness partner and a dependable person. Also, from all the episodes, we know how charismatic Viaan his. He always keeps everyone in the loop. He takes care of all this employees and try to surprise them on their special days like birthdays and Anniversaries. He also tore his socks for one of his employee so he doesn't feel bad. These traits were present in him before that night. So, Ehsan has already seen this kind and amazing side of Viaan before us viewers have seen.

Finally in the episode, where Aniruddha tries to instigate Ehsan against Viaan by showing him pic of Viaan and Katha together, Ehsan first talked with Viaan then, confessed his prior mistakes and both of them said sorry and apologised each other like good old friends.
