Abhinav’s exit Discussion Thread [DT Note: pg - 45] - Page 52

Adiós to Abhinav Sharma, the character who made me get out of itv slump. His love for Abhir, a child he nurtured with his everything is the best thing of this season. He has always thought of Abhir first. Even in the scene, where he got to know that Abhir knows that he is not his bio father, the man first thought was what Abhir might be feeling. His love, respect for Akshara is something most girls want in real life. A platonic bond that dealt with life together and only strengthened with violent storms never withering is the most beautiful relationship. Only death could separate them. I was sold on his definition of love. Man, that was . Imo, this is the lead kinda relationship. This Gen before the leap didn't have any depth in the relationships or any hook that could keep legacy viewers apart from the name Akshara. His character brought that freshness. Also, kudos to Jay. He has elevated the scenes with his acting. He has earned an admirer in me. Will be looking out for his future projects. I started watching gen3 only for HC but I am leaving now for Abhinav. I used to skip scenes pre leap but post leap, I loved them specially Kasauli scenes. I don't know how they'd go through reunion. With the rumours floating, they might pull another Abhinav in the form of Abhimanyu in order to redeem him. Imo, that wouldn't be the same thing. Abhinav has set the bar so high. At least this time, Akshara will know how to navigate through Birla house and not take any bs from any anyone. Even if she gets divorced another time, she will have the safety of kasauli house with her. Abhinav made it sure❤️

I'll miss him a lot, and also I guess I'll stop watching now.

I will also miss Abhinav, the Kasauli scenes were sooo good, shall miss all of that. Maybe shall watch the series as to where it is going next after his death if I don’t like it will stop watching it

I started watching the show after Kaira for just Abhinav and Akshara. He is the most refreshing character in ITV. The best person who knows how to treat people and help beyond his abilities.

Compared to abhimanyu, he might not be wealthy, not have six pack but he has a big heart which only knows to love and care. Not even a bit of bad blood or negativity. I definitely agree that this is a lead characteristics. Abhinav should have been a parallel lead and not a cameo.

But if makers wanted abhira reunion, I don't know why they made Akshara fall in love with Abhinav. Cause the leads (ML and FL) in previous seasons didn't fall in love with their cameo leads even if they were married.

I am kind of glad they are killing off Abhinav instead of turning him negative for abhira reunion cause no one would believe Abhinav being evil/negative.

I kind of wished they would have gone with Abhinav and Akshara together as they have shipped second marriage in yrkkh. So it's not something new. But I feel like this generation might finish after this reunion track and then maybe a leap with abhir and his sibling story or abhir and roohi story.

I definitely quit the show after Abhinav exit. I am rewatching akshnav journey and keep them alive by reading their fanfictions.

Same here yaar, I had started for HC, but found Abhimanyu’s character quite off putting, lost my interest, then Kasauli vibes attached me to the show again, now Idk if I will watch it any further, maybe for Abhir I can stay a bit longer, but I know its not going to be the same vibe and I’ll eventually get bored🥺

But people r missing one point here…..abhim took him there and offered and convinced him to drink while he stayed sober…..he didn’t know there is a surprise party soo I don’t think him drinking is wrong….abhinav was supposed to go with abhir to game room but abhim himself convinced and brought him to the cliff for drinking what abhim was thinking is that any beach or hill station
