When I see such comparisons I feel like bashing my head again the wall. When Abhi believed that Kairav killed Anisha he knew Kairav for less than a year and he had denied to marry her. Here it's completely different they know Abhi for almost 10 years now. Their daughter and granddaughter stays in his house! Kuch bhi bolte hai!

Also in Neil's case they don't say or believe that Akshu did it on purpose to kill Neil they were angry because she was negligent and stubborn which led to a completely avoidable death of Neil and the babies!
