I wonder.
2 men 1 girl track zahid really downgraded his script
Zahid didn't downgrade his script
It's a Samira Fazal show
Her last show was mohlat which was so much better inspite of showing family politics
Zahids last Samira Fazal show was alvida which gave him a huge break on tv
Kinzas last and first drama with Samira Fazal was mohlat where she got huge recognition for playing negative
Hum tv Samira Fazal combo is always superhit
So they played their cards well
It's just that the script fell flat this time
Unlucky them

No doubt she's a good writer but Why she's copying ghum story from mbj atleast keep it original tho I'm seeing 2 men fighting for a 1 girl the viral track from this show is also copied from kkb initially they made afzu postive and later made negetive Samira needs to show her old roots rather than copying itv

haven't seen the ITV show or track you are referring to but just wanted to comment in general. even if she was inspired by this show, ultimately these writers are being inspired by real life crime incidents where scorned lovers are releasing revenge videos and other social media material when their ex chooses someone else or breaks up with them. so rather than drama writers taking inspiration from each other, I would say they are actually taking inspiration from news.
from that view, it is a good thing that we are seeing the negative aspects of 'love' -- control, gaslighting, manipulation. I am actually impressed with MBJ's writer when it comes to the character of fardeen. she is showing how he uses the heart of others to manipulate them into what he wants. he is constantly acting like a puppet master and it is masterful portrayal as well as writing.
we are getting too much news on these type of incidents over and over. someone gets rejected and rather than take it gracefully, they immediately feel entitled to do revenge. how is that love? so as society, we need to take off our rose coloured glasses when it comes to love and discuss these questions especially as how people use social media as a weapon.
we need more dramas talk about the dangers of sharing and trusting and what love actually means. are we safe with those we choose to love? and what precautions should we take? these are questions that society needs to ask, especially the young who have a rosy eyed view of love. in my view, even if two dramas feel a bit similar as they are tackling these themes, ultimately, they are not copying each other but echoing what is happening in our world. they are actually reflecting the underbelly of society and we need more chatter on these real topics in order to prevent crime and injustice.

part of me feels it was deliberate on part of the writer, the director as well as the actors to play down the salaciousness and keep the focus on the effect of what happened -- this is important so that victims don't get lost. in many true crime reporting especially those that involve some sort of intimacy, people get lost in the details, the sleaze and the grime. so much so that we forget the victims and the real lessons that we can draw. it is difficult to write those type of stories sensitively so that rather than blaming the victim, we are asking wider questions of society in general. given the nature of the theme they are dealing with as well as the strict censor board, they had to be careful to imply without going too far and disturbing any cultural sensibilities. that is why it feels a bit flat at times.

Even Mrs and Mr Shameem showed the same topic If MBJ was a hit then why zahid is not hyped nowadays like he used to do ?? BTW afzu is always typecasted as villain when we'll see him as postive role
