Tbh, she isn’t looking that horrible . Her expressions and her makeup/ hair are all a little OTT.
Also, they’re ‘enacting’ the original song with all the original lyrics which basically convey the lovers’ first meet and how the guy went lattoo etc so I think given the concept she isn’t acting out of line here.
