Zee TV show ‘Maitree’ is getting the love of the audiences. However, the makers and the channel decided to pull off the plug on the show. The show was supposed to telecast its last episode on 30th July 2023.
Now, BollywoodMDB has learned a new development. Sources have it that the show has gotten an extension. Yes, you read that right! Sources have it that the makers wanted an apt end for the show and thus the decision was taken. The show is now slated to go off-air probably in the month of August.
The current track of the show revolves around Harsh and Maitree’s life turning upside down post-leap. There has been a lot of misunderstanding between the two leading to their divorce. Harsh is now married to Nandani for Juhi and Nandish’s sake. With the extension, it will be interesting to see how the makers put an end to Maitree’s love story.
‘Maitree’ is produced by Sunshine Productions and has a stellar star cast including actors like Shrenu Parikh, Bhaweeka Chaudhary, Samarth Jurel, and Ananya Khare among others. We couldn’t connect with the actors and the producers for a comment.
