Yeah that’s what I thought. I actually asked the legacy viewers. They said the legacy kid is from original pair. So Abhir can be. And if there is ever a Naira Birla then her. But then I have no idea how things work.

Abhimanyu didn’t want to talk about that day or his kids - it was too painful - I see nothing wrong with that. Neither Akshara nor Abhinav got to the point on the phone - kept saying sth is left, i am nobody bla bla bla.. Both are hopeless in communicating effectively! If her intentions were to inform - she would have found a way to do it! She never cared enough about it.

Akshara erased Abhimanyu because she couldn’t deal with his rejection of her - he wouldn’t have abandoned Abhir and she knows it!

Abhi on WD was struck by grief and acted irrationally but Akshara has been consumed by hate and continuously tortured him since specially after Udaipur track and that too using her own son. This doesn’t make her a hero or great it just shows how low she has fallen.

So yes life has come full circle. Abhi has lifted himself up and can now stand with his head held high up due to his actions but Akshara has fallen into a bottomless pit with her hatred.

And for her revenge, her payment is Abhinav dying. Karma. She propped up this man against Abhi and did all sorts of things to invalidate Abhi as Abhir's father. When all the Abhi wanted was some time with his son. He continued to respect Akshara and Abhinav as parents of Abhir. Never made faces or lashed out because Abhir was with them while Akshara and Abhinav felt threatened and insecure when Abhir made any friendly gestures toward Abhi.

Now many of us no longer sympathize with Akshara. While at the beginning of the leap it was the other way around. So I guess in a cruel twisted way in the Maker's writing they basically level set Abhi and Akshara as both did some horrible things and made extremely bad decisions. Abhi did it on that one day, the day of the phone call, and staying away for 7 months. Once Akshara announced her remarriage he no longer had any reason to get involved with her life. Akshara did it for 6 years and 7 months.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this but I find it extremely ironic that Akshara tried to erase Abhi from Abhir's life and even her life to some extent and the montage literally shows Abhinav being erased 😆
