TV is also very taxing on actors. Movies are shot for a fixed period of time. TV shows are extremely hectic, they shoot long hours almost everyday till the show is airing

I agree with long hours on set but every field has its pros and cons, earn more while working for more time is usually the concept with most professions. I would still say actors are better paid than many other 24 crafts workers.

In India TV people are considered family as people watch them religiously almost daily on TV but TV actors are the ones who want to do films not for fame but for money, movie actors comparatively earn more money in less time. Since acting is their profession from which they want to earn money, doing it on big screen brings big money. Actors like Jenny have made peace with what they are doing in life, I have heard the same from Nakul too that he is satisfied with being on TV. I personally think TV actors are far more better in craft as they do their craft for months or years endlessly.

No doubt about this one.

Haan, that's why some actors take gaps, health peh assar parta hai. But I salute Indian tv actors.

I wished that Itv goes for finite shows ya phir badal de unke way of prod, as I said before.

Oh of course. Not even debating the pay thing. And TV actors are far better actors overall than those in movies. But phir bhi TV actors struggle to get into bollywood. I wish it was easier 😪

Yeah, these guys do get the short end of the stick work hours wise. I would love finite shows on ITV too, but unfortunately industry doesn't work like that. 😕

But hopefully some day. With streaming platforms TV actors are getting a chance to do finite shows. So maybe that will eventually trickle into ITV also.

Check out DEHLEEZ too...its a finite series. Love story mixed with action, great acting by all main characters
