Honestly, whatever bad and injustice is happening in this show happens in real life as well . Lover turning enemy and seeking vengeance by mentally torturing the partner . Gaining custody of the kid and insensitively erasing the existence of another parent from kid's life , btw this happens from both parent's side .

Abhir choosing sharma couple is obvious because he is a 6 year old , governed by the strings of attachment .Only a child who is mature and has developed a sense of justice, truth will choose his biological parent over his unneeded foster guardian when he comes to know that his biological parent was robbed of parental rights and was totally incapable to the circumstances created by the perpetrators.

At this point abhi ka heart attack dikha do and let him get an epiphany that in this world apart from his mother none loves or care for him. Become stoic, detached from everyone. People who want wd parallel just to tick off something from a list - it will never be same just because abhi is accused for someone's death. Akshara didn't suffer for 8 months before the wd. She was happy safe with her in laws expecting kids and spoiled rotten by her husband and in laws. She wasn't away from her spouse, her kid didn't reject her, her family wasn't going through crisis like divorce and bully kids. Sure maker can run another of their bakwas parallel but it will never be enough. The moment ak behaved inhumanly with abhi regarding abhir, the man's redemption or whatever was done. There is no point suffering for another person who was truly evil, wick disgusting pathetic wahiyat character.
