Isha, when did Arpita come out and say he didn’t cheat? She writes various scenarios but at this point we can come to different conclusions. The important part right now is that Arnav thinks he did and the consequences and decisions he makes are as a result of that.

He still told her half stuff with again his guilt taking precedence!!! The way he told her that he was in rave party as if he was there to enjoy (I’m so mad at him) and lavanya is nearly death knell to a woman’s heart!!! I can sympathise with khushi, can’t relate to her pain because I for one believe if you take sh*t you will end up getting more of it!!! She might be a good person to the world but created a real miserable life for herself . I might be the only person happy that her blindfold is gone, I hope she rises up now. At this point she feels she is cheated by everyone, good now she must learn to fight for herself. She can move on I don’t expect her to be understanding to Arnav’s mental health issues after what she went through in last year. I believe in her pain she has forgotten or looking at everything to be tainted . Hopefully someone will be able to convey to both of them about what lacked in their relationship and also how everything is not how they perceive it to be. But I would like khushi to finally grow a spine before she ventured into any relationship. No one (husband, parents , in-laws) is worth reverence other than the almighty!!!! You have to put yourself first because no one will .
Coming to Arnav, he in his ignorance and self pity topped with ever present guilt has lost something really precious, I just hope someone pushes him to a therapist at least now.

They both need help!!!!

I said Khushi’s blindfold gone is the only silver lining in this chapter.

The other one being Aman who still isn’t stopping his investigation and is convinced for some reason that he will find some connection to Lavanya.

I know Arnav is dying under guilt but I hope once Aman tells him what all went down, he finds it in himself to look Khushi in the eye and tell her what happened.

Timing is such a bitch for these two! 💔

Tashi, I see the Lavenya part as part of all of his bad decisions. If is probably the worst one but I don’t see it as separate. Even if he was drugged it was as a result of his bad decision to go, stay when he realized what was happening at the party, drink too much and put himself in a position to be drugged.

Yes, if I agree if there was sex and he was drugged Khushi, as hopefully most partners would forgive that part as not being cheating. But it still happened and he and she would always realize that and the fact that he didn’t stop when he realized it wasn’t her would probably always be a wiggle in the thoughts.

In case of r*pe partners never blame their partner not even a wiggle in thoughts. Then they hurt for their partners. On the other hand one who actually goes through it, lives with a PTSD, they need intense therapy to come out of it and forgive themselves despite never being at fault.

Drugs are not something a normal human being can handle, there are cases people high on drugs feel that they can stop a moving vehicle just with their hand.

So, Arnav will have to live with it, he may overcome it, Khushi may help him heal. But he is the one who will always have that wiggle.

I agree lunatic and then last year behaviour combined have made forgiving him more difficult.

But still if there has to be any hope for them, Khushi has to be sure Arnav never replaced her not even when he was drunk out of his mind.

Arilip, I also think Khushi made mistakes by accepting so little from Arnav in the marriage. She let herself be taken advantage of. I’m just not as harsh about it as you are.

I do think Arnav is still somewhat justifying his actions. He hasn’t told her all of the truths. But he is beginning to realize what a colossal b****** he has been to her. He has been selfish and self centered in his dealings with someone he thought he loved at one time.

Yes ,timing and their minds!!! I am happy that at least khushi came clear on what she thought about her life. Now let’s see if that makes him work towards their relationship or again wallowing in guilt he again pushes her off with his stupidity. At the moment khushi is too hurt to analyse anything, let’s see if she can handle the curveball life threw at her.

didn’t she say in her comment that FF is not about infidelity because what Arnav did was not infidelity. I understand she won’t formally write it in a chapter because that’s her personal belief and she is respectful of our choice to choose what we believe.

She could have updated them first but she threw a spanner on our discussion about boxers by mentioning they never stopped, Arnav was on top.

So, I really want to read the full DML chapters before reaching any conclusion. At the end there were two people involved in that act.

I don’t think she would want people to be confused if it was cheating or not even at the end of this story.

he decided he don’t want to assume and twice asked Khushi what did she want to do now.

Her response was if I could leave you I would have.

He’s gonna take it on her words 😭💔

What an emotionally charged chapter. Kudos to you for bringing out Khushi's state of mind so well, so intricately.

I had tears by the end of it. And I still stand by my belief.. It is not Arnav's cheating, which he may or may not have committed that is as important as his behaviour towards Khushi....

I understand there might be things in his past due to which he went through a trauma and couldn't bring himself to father a child.

What angers me is the fact that he has never treated his wife as an equal partner.

He has always had his opinions regarding things, how about finding his wife's opinions on those matters too?

He couldn't share his inner demons with her, okay, fair enough... But is that all that was there? His wife was with him in all his low times, when she made budgets to run his house in his limited income, when she was trying to hold together the bridge within the family, when she was making his house a home.

And now he is flourishing and he decided that Khushi can have a better life without him.

My problem is... He decided. Only him. Even with his past traumas (if there is), his pains and everything, he was the only one making decisions fot the two of them. She wasnt involved in his work, in his life... She wasnt involved in her life's decision too.

I agree to you that he had been ba****d to her but I don’t think he is selfish or self-centred. He is more of self kicking idiot with issues too deep and didn’t ever realise them. Also he realised he did become like the men he actually hated.
