Dear Author,
I really appreciate your writing skill for Penn down such impactful chapter. The anguish of the chapter haunt me yet the way you describe it, it's beautiful..
After today's chapter, My resolve for Khushi must get the divorce and free from Arnav, get strengthen..
In this whole confession phase, Arnav said he did mistake, a drunken mistake and few more Mistakes .
Mistakes ??? Really ??? If whatever Arnav did to Khushi is considered just mere mistakes or error in judgement, then The definition of mistakes should be redefined..
All Arnav did was Sins, nothing but sins.. His first sin was taking Khushi for granted, considering that she does not poses a brain or her emotions are not so deep..
The whole chapter is palpable with agony, but the line, " Begger can not be chooser", said it all..Khushi's hurt, pain, feeling of betrayal, agony, sorrow, helplessness but overall the feeling of unworthy..
Arnav very well knew Khushi was emotionally, socially and economically depends on him, just like majority of the wife in our Indian senerio..And what Arnav did, he just make Khushi believe that , yes she is not worthy enough to even have an proper discussion with, she does not possess a brain so she can not take a decision, her emotions does not matter so she can be abandoned..
Still, Arnav is considered as a " good man ".. Irony much, is not it ?? The people like Arnav does not kill someone physically, but they robbed someone emotionally so much that their soul left them making them emotionally dead and vulnerable, just like Khushi.. Arnav is nothing but a brainless, egoist, coward who is unable to own up his sins.. Here also he is using Khushi as his shield or may say, as his way to salvage himself., To get rid of his guilt..
Khushi said it right, she does not have any choice but to go on and follow Arnav wish.. the more I think, The more I feel disgusted with Arnav.. He is worst than Shyam..at least Shyam did not pretend to be good like Arnav did..
The small paragraph about VD and his happiness is the good news fore here as a reader..I just have that desperate hope, that Khushi move on with VD, it's not she has to get married with him, at least regain her self respect and re discover her self worth and willingly divorce Arnav....
For me, Arnav is toxic for Khushi and Khushi needs a person in her life who help her to rediscover herself..
Once again, hatts off for choosing this subject to Penn down and perfectly portraying down the emotions..
Good luck.. waiting for next..
