Actually Shakuni is modified a lot. He wasn't even remotely as important as shown. Also he was much better than shown at 2-3 times he asked Duryodhan to reconcile with Pandavas. Most of the things they show Shakuni doing was done in epic by Karna.

Vidur is illegitimate son of SP and hates them for getting everything that rightfully belonged to him. ( Mahabharata too Dhritraashtra Pandu and Vidur were biologically half brothers though not legally since former too were considered kids of Vichitraveer ji)

Neil isn't his biological son as his joke the other day was serious... only Vivek is his real son
