At the end of the day they are muslims. Shia's consider prophet's cousin the real successor of islam.

The teachings of shia and sunni are similar but somewhat different with each other as well.

I think shia's are shia's because they believed in the prophecy of Ali.

It's only recently I get to know there are different sects in Islam and Christianity. 😆

Apparently there are Catholics, syrian, Latin etc for Christans and some of them can't see eye to eye and thinks one is more superior than the other.

Different sects concept is real and exists and I was unaware. 😆

One of my friend is a shia muslim and she told me that she doesn't step out whole muharram whereas my sunni friend was roaming around freely and enjoying , I was curious but didn't ask. Now I know the difference

Muharram's significance is different for both these sects.
