The problem for applying science is that there's no precedence- the only thing we seem to know is that the original timeline's main events must not be affected.

I recall reading time travel theory by late philosopher David Lewis and his essay "The Paradoxes of Time Travel". It was more of a concept but NASA has said it may be a possibility. However, I have not explored it in detail as such and do not know how it connects with the conceptualization we are watching on screen.
I am looking at it from a different angle and maybe my thinking is not correct so happy to hear any differing input - as DT are divine connection, the centuries is not relevant somehow. What I mean by that is maybe they did meet in 17th century and something happened and they couldn't marry or whatever, so to correct that they again meet in 21st century and this time everything is going the way it should have in the first place, but did not.
We do not know what else was found in that excavation project. Here, I keep seeing krishna helping them in almost every step and that level of support from god means he wants them and like Tara said he created universe so his want becomes a reality.
Taking back to my original point, history has been written but it was not the history that should have been written, therefore correcting that wrong is affecting present, and will affect future too. Although, it does not explain how a place is cursed and why the f**k that sage is mad cowing because of that. He first said even god can't help them, but then he saw god did so he change tracks and goes now the place is going to be after you. He even apologized to the place which isn't a virgin to began with, so I don't get that bit at all.
Today what I also liked was when Dhruv got upset, Tara became the stronger one. I like that and it shows how much in tune they are in the sense when one is weak other becomes strong and we have seen this many times in this show. I hope they do the same in 21st century as well. One becomes strength of other and together they are a force to be reckoned with and their buddy, kanaji.
